The Indian entertainment industry seems to be a synonym of Bollywood.  Back in time, Indian entertainment industry’s main focus was on Bollywood and all the actors and actresses related to the Bollywood industry. Hindi was considered ideal and perfect for entertaining. All over the world, Bollywood represented our country.

Time has traveled a long way, Indian Entertainment seems no longer concentrated only to the Bollywood and Hindi.

Impressing talks are still around the corner. Tamil movies and Telugu movies have nearly shifted the fame and attention towards themselves in the past few years. Now the south Indian movies leave the great impact worldwide.  A special tribute to all the blockbuster south Indian movies that Left the great impact on the audience all over the globe. Some of the movies are Mersal, Mahanati and one of the epic movie – Bahubali. These movies have proved themselves to be deserving.

According to reports T-Series is is all set to produce Prabhas’s inexpensive spy thriller named Saaho. This thriller is shot in 3 different languages – Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu.

Hindi, for sure is now not seen as the face of Indian entertainment.  Many languages have become the major thing.  Now it has become quite easy to access the entertainment in a variety of languages both offline and online. Now South Indian actors are going for debut in Hindi movies, and Hindi actors are trying for south Indian movies. A Malayalam actor Dulquer Salmaan did his debut movie recently, he wisely concluded that everyone watches everything and thus point seems quite relevant.

 

Hindi is not the choice of audiences now

Non-Hindi cinema is contributing to nearly 22% cinema revenues, and there is a significant increment of 5% from the year 2005. One more important observation is that the occupancy of the regional language was around 40% last year.

Cross-pollination is such a trend now in Bollywood that has also in some way or the other affected the face of Bollywood. Cross-pollination is somewhat like releasing movies in Tamil and Telugu other than Hindi. This is the strategy to give a good box office earning. There are many movies releasing in regional languages like Tamil and Telugu. This surely seems like the phase of cross-pollination.  In the world of cross-pollination, it sometimes seems hard and difficult for every movie to go through this.

Same is the case with the phenomenal movie Bahubali and Bahubali 2.  This movie is originally a south Indian movie that was released in Hindi too.

Regional languages movies are flourishing

South Indian movies always had a strong market all over the country, but country seemed more influenced by the industries in Bengal, Maharashtra, and Punjab. Regional languages are also doing good and are encouraging themselves to a great future. Many efforts are been made for the same.  ZEE studios are working on a bunch of Marathi projects enthusiastically. On the other hand, Sony pictures India is also encouraging a Malayalam project that features a Malayalam actor. Viacom18 Motion picture stepped forward in this as it released few Marathi movies like Aapla Manus.and cycle.

To a surprising call, a comedy movie named Duvvada Jagannadham shines brightly leaving behind many successful movies of Bollywood like Kabul, tube light, and Raees. Another blockbuster movie – Bahubali 2 has set new records all over the world. It’s repeat airing too generated higher number than Dangal, considered to be the 2nd most watched movie.

Dubbed South Indian movies ruling Bollywood

A recent trend of dubbing South Indian movies and releasing it in Hindi is prevalent in Bollywood. Few years have marked the significant growth of South industry. There is gradual increase by eight times in price for south Indian movies on Hindi channels. It accordingly increased the number of satellites for this. People find Hindi dubbed south movies very interesting and tended to watch the entire film with at most interest. The dubbed movies have a good value in today’s world scenario. The directors pay lakhs to purchase the dubbing rights which shows how powerful these movies are. Moreover, South Indian dubbed are very popular, and you can walk into these while randomly changing the channel.  Some south Indian movie becomes additive after dubbing.

Many TV shows are multi-language remakes.  These shows include a very famous television show Kaun Banega Crorepati, Big Boss and Naagin.  Karmaphal Data Shani is a Kannada series that telecasts on Hindi television channel colors TV. These changes and variety clearly shows that even the broadcasters are ready for a change and adding regional language shows to Hindi channels is a great step in that.

In the first place here is evolution all over in the Indian entertainment and is no more limited to Hindi and only Bollywood; it has crossed that way before. So let’s celebrate this new trend and watch the amazing movies in regional language.
