Recently two new smartphones HTC U11+, and Sony Xperia L2 has launched in India. Both the smartphones come in an Amazing Silver color variant, but a Ceramic Black color model will be available soon. Both the smartphone has big competition in the market.
HTC U11+ price in India has been set as Rs. 56,990, with the handset going on sale via an e-commerce platform Flipkart and the price of Sony Xperia L2 is Rs 19,990 and is up on the e-commerce platform Amazon.
Operating System and Display
The HTC U11+ runs on the Android version 8.0 Oreo out-of-the-box with the company’s HTC Sense User interface running on top. The smartphone features a 6-inch Quad High definition+ Super LCD 18:9 display with a screen resolution of 1440×2880 pixels. It comes with Corning Gorilla Glass 5 for protection as well. Where, the Sony Xperia L2 runs on the Android version 7.1.1 Nougat operating system and features a 5.5-inch High Definition (720×1280 pixels) display with support for the Sony’s proprietary Image Enhance Technology and Corning Gorilla Glass protection.
RAM and Storage
HTU U11+ has 4GB or 6GB of RAM where Sony Xperia has 3GB of RAM. HTC U11+ has 64GB of Internal onboard storage, and Xperia l2 has 32GB of internal onboard storage.
HTC U11+ sports a 12-megapixel UltraPixel camera with autofocus, BSI sensor, OIS, f/1.7 aperture, and dual LED flash. Moreover, there is also an 8-megapixel camera with BSI sensor and f/2.0 aperture at the front. The Xperia L2 sports a 13-megapixel camera sensor on the back with a f/2.0 aperture. On the front, there is an 8-megapixel camera sensor with a 120-degree wide angle lens that comes with a f/2.4 aperture.
The HTC U11+ is powered and supported by a 3930mAh battery which is a removable one and comes with QuickCharge 3.0 support. Sony Xperia, on the other hand, has 3300mAh of the battery.
Some of the common connectivity options on both the smartphone include USB Type-C 3.1, Bluetooth 5.0, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, NFC(Near Field Communication), DLNA, FM radio and Miracast. There is a fingerprint scanner at the back of the smartphone.

Sony has provided pre-installed apps such as Movie Creator, AR Effect, and Xperia Lounge on the Xperia L2, which also has Clear Audio+ and Clear Bass audio output.

HTC U11+ comes with Google Assistant and Amazon Alexa, and they can be integrated with Edge Sense. HTC’s Edge Sense enables users to access apps, launch the camera, or launch a voice assistant with squeeze gesture on the sides. The smartphone also comes with the HTC Sense Companion that reads a user’s daily patterns over time and offers information as and when needed.
