Last Tuesday, two new smartphones were launched, Infinix Hot S3 and Vivo V7+ infinite Red variant. Both the smartphone are in tough competition as both have the same sort of features. So, here is the comparison for the both:
Price and Availability
The Infinix Hot S3 price in India for the variant of 3GB RAM/ 32GB storage is Rs. 8,999, while the 4GB RAM/ 64GB costs Rs. 10,999. The handset will be available exclusively on an e-commerce platform Flipkart where Vivo V7+ infinite has been priced at Rs 22,990 and is available to purchase across all the offline and on an e-commerce platform Amazon.
Display and Operating System
The Infinix Hot S3 runs on the XOS 3.0 which is based on top of Android Oreo. The phone sports a 5.65-inch High Definition+ (720×1440 pixels) 2.5D Full View display. Where the Vivo V7+ infinite runs on Android Nougat and sports a display of 5.99 inches with HD+.
Processor and Storage
Infinix Hot S3 is powered and supported by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 SoC, which is coupled with Adreno 505 GPU. Whereas, Vivo V7+ is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 450 chipset. Vivo V7+ has 32GB of internal onboard storage while on the other hand, Infinix Hot S3 has 64 GB of inbuilt onboard storage.
On the photography department, the Infinix Hot S3 features a 13-megapixel rear sensor with PDAF, f/2.0 aperture, 5P lens, and dual LED flash. There is also a 20-megapixel selfie camera with f/2.0 aperture, 5P lens, and dual LED flash. On the Vivo V7+, there is a 24MP selfie camera with an aperture of f/2.0 and flash. There is also a 12-megapixel camera for taking selfies and video calling.
Some of the connectivity options on both the smartphones include Bluetooth 4.2, OTG support, Wi-Fi, 4G VoLTE, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. Sensors on the phone include an Ambient Light sensor, Proximity sensor, G-sensor, and a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor.
Infinix Hot S3 has a battery capacity of 4000mAh which is a removable one with support for the xCharge under the hood. Vivo V7+ has a battery of 3300mAh which is non-removable one.
