Two new smartphones were launched in the Indian market last week, Nokia 6 and Karbonn Titanium jumbo 2. Both the smartphones are up for sales on the e-commerce platforms.

Price in India, launch offers

The Nokia 6 will go on sale at the cost of Rs. 16,999. Additionally, as part of the launch, an additional exchange discount of Rs. 2,000 is also being offered with ICICI bank. Whereas, Karbonn Titanium Jumbo 2 price in India is Rs. 5,999 An Airtel cashback offer of Rs. 2,000 is also valid on the phone, giving it an effective price of Rs. 3,999. Rs. 500 will be credited to the user after 18 months, and the rest Rs. 1,500 will be credited after a total of 36 months.

Display and Operating System

The Nokia 6 is a pure version of Android version 7.1.1 Nougat. The handset sports a 5.5-inch full-High Definition (1080x1920pixels) IPS display with support for the Corning Gorilla Glass protection. On the other hand, Karbonn Titanium Jumbo 2 sports a 5.5-inch High Definition (720×1280 pixels) IPS LCD with curved glasses of 2.5D and will run on Android version 7.10 out of the box.


On the photography department, the Nokia is powered and supported by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 SoC, and as mentioned, which comes with 4GB of RAM. On the other hand, Karbonn Titanium Jumbo 2 runs on the 1.3GHz quad-core SoC, which is coupled with 2GB of RAM.


The Nokia 6 features a 16-megapixel rear camera with PDAF, a f/2.0 aperture, a 1-micron pixel sensor, and dual-tone LED flash. The Nokia 6 has an 8-megapixel autofocus front camera with a f/2.0 aperture and an 84-degree wide-angle lens for taking selfies and video calling. Whereas, Karbonn Titanium Jumbo 2 bears a 13-megapixel rear camera with LED flash. On the front is an 8-megapixel selfie camera with LED flash.

Connectivity options

Both the smartphone has same connectivity options like 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n, Bluetooth v4.1, GPS/ A-GPS, FM radio, NFC, Micro-USB with support for OTG, and a 3.5mm audio jack. Moreover, sensors on board the smartphone include an accelerometer, ambient light sensor, gyroscope, magnetometer, and proximity sensor. It features an aluminum unibody design, dual speakers with Dolby Atmos audio.


Nokia is powered by a battery capacity of 3000mAh which is a removable one. While on the other hand, Karbonn titanium Jumbo 2 has a battery capacity of 4000mAh battery under the hood.
