THE TOUGH TASK
Redmi X is going to arrive. There was a time we never had a phone! And a time where we didn’t know how to operate the sophisticated miniature machine, things have so well changed that now the confusion isn’t about how to use the gadget, it’s about naming the newly invented ones! There was a time when people struggled naming their babies, since we have the above said gadgets to Google, that’s become easy, but these gadgets need a name, that isn’t easy!
THE NAME GAME
The Month of May is all set to witness the launch of Redmi X by Redmi and Realme X by Realme. The name as you read is too similar. Redmi X would be launched on 14th of this month, suggests a leaked post on Weibo. The launch would initially happen at China and later in the rest of the markets. According to hearsay, Redmi X will be rebranded as Poco F2 in the Indian market. Though a tittle-tattle, there is a high possibility as Xiaomi claims that the Redmi X will be the cheapest Snapdragon 855 chipset phone launched so far and the same strategy is what Poco follows. The crazy thing is, the leaked post opened to the rumors of it’s name- Redmi X, slamming the rumor came another post. Lu Weibing, the Redmi GM noted, “not called Redmi X, there will be a better name…”. Better not to name Redmi X when Realme X is too on the way. The earlier rumored name was Redmi Pro 2. So much of rumors around the name. The baby is genetically brilliant so we at F.A.R.T. believe this to be a mandatory name game! Thanks to the dictionary, we have the word GIZMO! Let’s use that for the time-being.
noun: gizmo; plural noun: gizmos; noun: gismo; plural noun: gismos
a gadget, especially one whose name the speaker does not know or cannot recall.
WHAT MAKES THE GIZMO COOL?
The to be launched gizmo is expected to come with three rear cameras, pop-up selfie camera, slim bezels and gradient design. It will have no notch on the screen because of the pop-up camera it has. The full specs sheet has also been leaked. The gizmo is expected to come with a 6.39-inch display, up to 8GB of RAM, up to 128GB storage, 32MP front selfie camera, triple rear camera setup one of which includes a 48MP sensor similar to the Redmi Note 7 Pro. It is expected that on the back there will be a 48MP primary sensor, 8-megapixel secondary sensor and third one will be a 13-megapixel lens. Also, hearsay suggests that the Redmi Snapdragon 855 powered phone will include an AMOLED panel and an in-display fingerprint sensor.
The launch is almost here, let’s wait to hear what it would be called. Till then let it be called, GIZMO!
