Mi 6X or which is popularly known by the name as Mi A2 is Xiaomi’s latest smartphone which is going to be released on April 25. Xiaomi has revealed a Blue color variant of the Mi 6X showing off the back panel of the handset. The official teaser has also confirmed that the smartphone will sport a dual camera setup with a 20-megapixel sensor and Led flash.
The new smartphone is going to be revealed at an event in China. Xiaomi has posted the teaser on Chinese microblogging site Weibo revealing some of the specifications of the handset. The Mi 6X appears to come with an Apple iPhone X-like vertically aligned dual cameras and with the support of fingerprint sensor.
According to the report, the Mi 6X will come with a 20-megapixel camera sensor at the back. Apart from the 20-megapixel primary sensor, the rear camera setup may also have a 12-megapixel Sony IMX486 sensor. On the front department, the handset may include a 20-megapixel Sony IMX376 sensor with panorama feature as well.
Display and Processor
The smartphone is expected to be powered and supported by a Snapdragon 660 processor. It will sport a 5.99-inch full-High Definition (1080×2160) display with the protection of gorilla glass and dust resistant. It was also certified by TENAA team in China.
RAM and Storage
The Mi 6X is expected to ship in three configurations with 4GB RAM/ 32GB storage, 6GB RAM/ 64GB storage, and 6GB RAM/ 128GB storage.
The smartphone is also going to come up with a battery capacity of 2910mAh which is a non-removable one and measurements are 158.88×75.54×7.3mm with respect to its length x height x thickness and weighs around 112 grams.
The smartphone will run MIUI 9 which is based on Android version 8.1 Oreo.
